Grieving Children at Seasons Centre (dedicated in memory of Samantha & Jessica Ramey) is a non-profit, non-sectarian, registered charitable organization, incorporated May 29th, 1995.

The centre, modeled after the Dougy Centre in Portland, Oregon, is located in Barrie, Ontario providing services at no-charge to all who wish to attend.

Grieving Children at Seasons Centre is founded on the belief that every child deserves an opportunity to grieve in a supportive and understanding environment.

The centre's misson statement: To provide child-directed support within a peer-to-peer group in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory, safe, home-like atmosphere for children, teens and their families grieving the death of a loved-one; supporting them as they adjust emotionally, to regenerate a sense of self and reconstruct their world.
