Every single day of the year, homeless animals arrive at the Barrie Branch OSPCA needing their help. Some are lost, some are the victims of terrible neglect or even abuse, but the vast majority are abandoned. Dogs and cats simply left by irresponsible owners who apparently can't be bothered to give them a home anymore.
The City of Barrie is growing at a record rate, and the result is almost four thousand homeless animals who now require the help and care of the Barrie Branch OSPCA every year. They help them by taking care of their needs and finding them loving new homes as quickly as possible.
